(NOT) Just for Kids: Norwalk Symphony- Brass – It’s all about the Bzzzz

Join the Norwalk Symphony Orchestra to explore Brass instruments! Our Brass Quintet (Trumpets, Trombone, Horn and Tuba) all have the origins of their sound in the same skill – called “Buzzing.” What else gives this family of instruments its unique sounds? Join us as we explore the science and physics of their sound, and hear all the different variations they can make. Learn about the versatility of these instruments across different music genres such as jazz, ragtime, blues and more as they get ready for our upcoming concert of multicultural American music.
