In recognition of his “unwavering dedication to local governance and community interests,” Senator Ryan Fazio was honored with the Connecticut Council of Small Towns’ (COST) Town Crier Award. This annual award was given as a testament to Senator Fazio’s exceptional leadership and advocacy for the issues facing Connecticut’s towns.
The annual meeting included the election of officers and directors, a Legislative Leaders Forum, and a keynote speech by Governor Ned Lamont.
Emphasizing the importance of local governance, Senator Fazio stated, “The government that governs closest to the people governs best. My continued efforts will be to protect local control in decision-making processes across Connecticut, not only in my constituents’ towns of Greenwich, Stamford, and New Canaan but statewide.”
