Varsity Girls Volleyball
It was a challenging week for the girls’ volleyball team as they faced tough opponents on the road and at home. They kicked off the week with an away game against St. Joseph, where they fought hard but ultimately fell short, losing 0-3. On another away game against Trumbull, the team once again faced a formidable adversary, resulting in another 0-3 loss. However, they showed resilience on their home court when they played against Ridgefield, managing to secure one set but ultimately falling short with a final score of 1-3.
Varsity Girls Soccer
The girls’ varsity soccer team showcased their determination in an away game against Ridgefield. It was a hard-fought match, with both teams giving their all, and it ended in a well-deserved 1-1 tie.
Varsity Girls Field Hockey:
The girls’ field hockey team had a fantastic day at home when they faced Trumbull. They displayed their skills and teamwork, securing a close but well-deserved victory with a final score of 2-1.
Varsity Boys Soccer:
The boys’ varsity soccer team had a competitive home game against Ridgefield, and after a fierce battle, the match ended in a 1-1 tie. The team showed their sportsmanship and skill throughout the game.
Varsity Football:
The varsity football team continued their winning streak in style. In an away game against Norwalk, they dominated the field, securing an impressive victory with a final score of 51-8. This win reflects the team’s dedication and hard work on and off the field.
Girls Cross Country:
The girls’ cross country team showed their strength and determination as they participated in the CIAC Division L Girls Championship. The team emerged victorious, taking the coveted 1st place with a total of 95 points. Their outstanding performance demonstrates their commitment to excellence.
Boys Cross Country:
The boys’ cross country team also had an important race at the CIAC Division L Boys Championship. They faced stiff competition and gave their all, earning a respectable 6th place with a total of 169 points. Their efforts are a testament to their dedication and the bright future ahead.
