PRESS RELEASE
The New Canaan Men’s Club will host Dr. Joe Feuerstein, an assistant professor of medicine at Columbia University and Quinnipiac University, for a presentation on the health benefits of a diet enriched with cannabinoids and natural ingredients. The talk will take place on Friday during the club’s regular meeting at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 111 Oenoke Ridge.
Dr. Feuerstein’s discussion will focus on the therapeutic effects of incorporating ingredients such as turmeric, basil, rosemary, black pepper, flax, oregano, cloves, cinnamon, omega-3s, truffles, and cacao into one’s diet. According to Dr. Feuerstein, these elements can enhance the body’s regulation of functions and help alleviate conditions like pain, inflammation, and anxiety.
As a consultant physician specializing in integrative medicine, Dr. Feuerstein has treated patients with serious medical conditions using natural approaches. In addition to his academic work, he runs a boutique concierge practice in lower Fairfield County, offering home visits and acupuncture.
The Men’s Club meeting will begin at 10 a.m., with Dr. Feuerstein’s presentation starting at approximately 10:40, following the business portion of the gathering.
The New Canaan Men’s Club welcomes new members aged 55 and older. For more information, email ncmens@ncmens.club or visit their website at newcanaanmensclub.org.
