Since 1998, the New Canaan Community Foundation has proudly recognized the “unsung heroes” of our community – individuals and groups who selflessly volunteer their time to make a difference. These remarkable volunteers devote their most valuable resource, time, to benefit New Canaan, and their contributions deserve celebration and recognition.

The New Canaan Community Foundation is honored to lead the annual Volunteer Recognition Awards, a program that celebrates extraordinary volunteers, including youth volunteers, adult volunteers, board members, “hands-on” contributors who roll up their sleeves, and volunteer groups who make a collective impact.
