Democrats Officially Nominate Nick Simmons for the 36th State Senate District

Delegates from the Democratic Town Committees of Greenwich, Stamford, and New Canaan convened via Zoom on Tuesday evening, unanimously nominating Nick Simmons as the Democratic candidate for the 36th State Senate District. The event saw notable attendees, including Lt. Governor Susan Bysiewicz, underscoring the significance of this nomination for the Democratic Party’s electoral strategy.

Nick Simmons, in his acceptance speech, expressed his gratitude to the Democratic Committees of Greenwich, Stamford, and New Canaan. “I’m extremely proud–and thankful–for the chance to represent Connecticut’s 36th district,” said Simmons. “I want to extend my gratitude to the Democratic Committees of Greenwich, Stamford and New Canaan.”
