Each year, the New Canaan Community Foundation’s Spring Benefit Luncheon raises essential funds to support community work. This year’s luncheon, to take place on May 1, will spotlight the Foundation’s Touch A Life program, which offers confidential emergency financial assistance to New Canaan residents in need.
The Foundation is honored to welcome Stephanie Land, acclaimed author of Maid: Hard Work, Low Pay, and a Mother’s Will to Survive and Class: A Memoir of Motherhood, Hunger, and Higher Education, as the keynote speaker. Her debut memoir, which details her experiences as a single mother in poverty and inspired an Emmy-nominated Netflix miniseries, promises to lend a powerful voice to their cause.
