PRESS RELEASE
Staying Put in New Canaan and Lapham co-hosted an appraisal day with Specialists from the New York based auction house, Bonham’s. Specialists met with New Canaan residents to review pieces from their collections– from fine art to jewelry, and everything in between. The jam-packed appraisal appointments were followed by a Lunch and Learn where Stefany Morris, head of Impressionist & Modern Art for Bonham’s, led a discussion about the art market, selling at auction and the types of appraisals that our New Canaan residents might find most helpful. A robust Q+A rounded out the day and attendees lingered long after. The Bonham’s team was accommodating, delighted, and thrilled to meet so many engaged community members.
Staying Put in New Canaan is a local non-profit dedicated to helping older New Canaan residents live confidently at home and stay engaged in the community by providing practical services and social connections.
