Plum blossoms are the first flowers to emerge in late winter and spring. They endure snow showers which often occur during the cold weather which is why Asians see them as a symbol of endurance. CLSC students painted individual blossoms and glued them on to paper lanterns at the closing of the Lunar New year to acknowledge the Lantern Festival. This coming weekend, it’s time to Prepare for the Blue Dragon of Longtaitou! Monday, March 11, 2024 will be the second day of the second lunar month of 4722, the year for the Wood Dragon. To observe this day, CLSC students will prepare for Longtaitou. If you are interested in participating any weekend activities, please contact us by calling: 866-301-4906 to sign up to participate!
