To the Editor:
On behalf of the New Canaan MOM’s of Military, we wish all those who have served and their
families a happy Veteran’s Day. We also thank the sponsors of our Veteran’s Day Banner
Project. The generosity of the New Canaan Exchange Club and New Canaan Veterans of
Foreign Wars Post 653 allows our veterans to be honored with personalized banners downtown
with no cost to the families.
The project was started in 2019 by Jack Goetz (USMA Class of 2025) as an Eagle Scout
project, and the local MOM’s of Military proudly continue this wonderful tradition. If you or a
loved one is a veteran and is from or now living in New Canaan, you can contact Joelle Graham
