Amy Carroll is a person who knows how to get things done. That’s one of the reasons I wholeheartedly endorse her as First Selectman. She has dedicated herself to our town and has the experience to know what needs fixing and how to fix it.
We’ve known Amy for the nearly 30 years we’ve lived in this town and raised our family. She stood out right away because of all the volunteering she was doing. I felt wherever I looked Amy was pitching in to help with the schools, the church and the many sport teams.
Amy brings to our town her 30 year career as a municipal finance expert on Wall Street, a career she only just left in order to run for First Selectman. She worked with the Board of Finance for 10 years and worked with the Board of Ed, Parks and Rec, and the Capital Spending committees. She had a positive impact on all of them.
Amy is by far the most qualified person for the position as First Selectman. She has more experience in our town government than any other candidate, and she will hit the ground running on day one. She is a caring individual with an outstanding work ethic who wants to break down ideological barriers that get in the way of progress for our town. New Canaan needs Amy Carroll for First Selectman.
